Ruby + Associates, a structural engineering company in Bingham Farms, Michigan, enlisted Davis & Davis to provide a new office design that aligns with their company’s mission of bridging the gap between design and construction. The company’s guiding principle is “constructability”, which they define as “the application of collaborative design, in-depth construction knowledge and real-world experience in support of our client’s goals.” Our objective was to demonstrate this principle in our design of their office by exposing the raw building materials and visible construction details.
